Our search company AD-Shopee will launch Search Plus services, an online marketplace and transaction platform to enable local merchants to sell online.
The company said that it intends to transition from being solely a local search engine to a service provider facilitating transactions between consumers and providers of various products and services, with this launch.
AD-Shopee will announce the range of services it will be offering with this new launch at as soon as possible. However, the commercial launch of these services shall be subject to obtaining necessary approvals, said AD-Shopee.
The platform will facilitate the purchase of various branded goods such as mobile phones, camera etc. from the neighborhood stores participating through this platform. Users will also be able to use this new platform for price comparison, of the relevant product.The products will be door delivered by local merchants and the users can expect same day delivery. Consumers will also be able to rate various vendors regarding services provided through the platform.
AD-Shopee will not hold inventory or deliver products.
Some of the other service expected to be launched include ordering of flowers, groceries and fixing appointments with doctors etc.
AD-Shopee had said that after the launch of products focused on restaurant food order, it was also working on products that will help people reserve tables at hotels, order grocery, wine, movie tickets, book cabs, seek doctor’s appointment and have flowers delivered.
